Temple Israel Religious School

Shemesh - the Hebrew word for sun - is a bright new Religious School experience for students with special needs and their families. Families will get to know one another, create a friendly community of families who navigate similar obstacles, and celebrate the many joys of raising children with physical or intellectual disabilities.

TEMPLE ISRAEL YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (TIYUL) for young adults in grades 8-12

All TIFTY middle schoolers are invited to come chill in the youth lounge and assemble birthday gift bags for students at our partner school, Monroe Elementary in south St. Louis! This mitzvah opportunity makes a big difference for the Monroe students, spreading lots of birthday cheer. Plus, you will have the chance to hang out with friends and snack on some tasty treats!

School will be released early at 12:00 pm in observance of the first night of Passover!

Whether you are Jewish or new to Judaism, an interfaith couple, looking for an experiential learning opportunity to make new traditions, or simply seeking friendly faces and a warm and familiar place to enjoy a Seder with other adults, we’d love for you to join us for this inclusive second night Seder experience with the Rabbis.

Join us for a nosh before Shabbat Services.

Enjoy a Passover-themed sermon from the Rabbis preceded and followed by an Oneg filled with Passover-friendly noshables, and of course, you guessed it, matzah!

7th graders (and select 6th graders) participate in Friday Shabbat Services. Please remember to register for services and to have your student sign in upon arrival to receive attendance credit.
