April 2024 Seniors on the Move!
Get ready for ringside seats to the best swing band in the Midwest – Sweetie & The Toothaches! Specializing in 1940s - 1960s R&B, blues and ballads, St. Louis’ premier swing band will have you stomping your feet, shaking your hips, and leave you with a permanent sweet tooth! Come meet the bus at Congregation Temple Israel for 8:00 am check-in, as buses will leave promptly at 8:30 am. Lunch will follow at Favazza’s, and then head back to TI by 2:30 pm. 

Wednesday, April 17 l 8:00 am – 2:30 pm l Temple Israel (1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, 63141) l $18 includes concert, lunch and round-trip transportation 
 

Lunch: Lunch will follow at Favazza's! All meals include Favazza’s dinner salad, Italian bread & butter, and cannoli for dessert. Meal selections will be made at the restaurant. You will have a choice of:  

Cavatelli Con Broccoli: creamy butter and parmigiano cheese sauce with broccoli, mushrooms, and a touch of marinara  
Chicken Marsala: sautéed in marsala wine sauce with fresh mushrooms, roasted peppers, and tomatoes  
Cod Piccata: white wine and lemon butter sauce with mushrooms and cheese - (Gluten Free) 

RSVP: RSVP by Wednesday, April 10 and pay in advance by check or credit card. You can do so on the Temple Israel website at www.ti-stl.org/Seniors, or by calling the TI office at 314-432-8050. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP today! 

Jewish Seniors on the Move is a program where active St. Louis Jewish seniors can enjoy day trips, tours, food and friends while exploring St. Louis! This program is presented in partnership with Congregation Shaare Emeth, Congregation Temple Israel, Temple Emanuel and United Hebrew Congregation, and is made possible by a grant from The Kahn Fund.
