Commemorate

It is said that memory is one of the most meaningful gifts bestowed upon us. It becomes a blessing when it inspires us to think of times and places, and especially people who were a blessing in our lives.

COMMEMORATE A LOVED ONE:

  • by establishing a Perpetual Memorial,
the names of those held in Perpetual Memorial are remembered annually in the Dateline, eNews, Book of Remembrance, Shabbat leaflet, and during the Mourner's Kaddish at Shabbat services
  • by requesting their name be read at Shabbat services*,
requested names are remembered in the Shabbat leaflet, eNews, and during the Mourner's Kaddish at Shabbat services
  • through a Yahrzeit donation,
Yahrzeit tribute donations are recognized in the Dateline
  • by adding their name to our annual Book of Remembrance
the Book of Remembrance is published annually and distributed at the Yom Kippur afternoon service

*Note: if you are placing a request for a same-day reading, please call our office directly at 314-432-8050 to ensure that the name of your loved one will be included in that evening's service.
