We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to worship with us, learn with us, and share in the celebration of Jewish holidays and lifecycle events. We are committed to making membership at Temple Israel accessible and affordable to all who wish to be a part of our community. Our diverse and inclusive Reform Jewish community includes many interfaith households, members of the LGBT community, Jews by choice, singles, and people of all ages and religious backgrounds.

Centrally located in Creve Coeur, a St. Louis suburb considered to be the heart of the local Jewish community, Temple Israel has been a thriving Jewish congregation for more than 130 years. Our membership of approximately 900 households includes many multi-generational families, as well as individuals and families choosing to start their tradition with us now.
