Volunteer as a Doctor on Call for High Holy Days Services

TEXT: High Holy Days Doctors on Call IMAGE: Doctor holding patient's handServe as a Doctor on Call
at High Holy Days Services

The High Holy Days are a time for coming together as a Temple community, and our goal is to ensure the health and safety of every guest who walks through our doors to worship during the most well-attended services of the year. Very occasionally, there is an unexpected medical situation where a guest may fall or faint, or even experience a heart or breathing issue, which may require the immediate attention of a licensed medical professional as we await the arrival of an ambulance.

To ensure we are prepared if any such incident were to occur, each year, we reach out to some of the doctors within our Temple community to ask for your support during one or more High Holy Days service dates.

More information about serving as a doctor on call:
1.    Volunteers should arrive 30 minutes prior to the service
2.    You'll get to reserve Sanctuary seats of your choice so that an Usher can locate you if need be
3.    We'll show you where the first aid supplies and AEDs are located

Thank you for volunteering to keep our community safe during the High Holy Days.
