As a teen, TI member Gene Litvin and his family emigrated from the Soviet Union to flee religious oppression. Knowing firsthand the struggles refugees face, he felt compelled to launch a fundraising campaign to purchase necessities and supplies and travel to the Poland-Ukraine border to serve others fleeing their beloved homeland.

At this Shabbat service led by Rabbi Shook, Gene will tell his story and share how we can best support Ukrainian refugees in their time of crisis.
