10:00 AM - 11:00 AMTemple IsraelWednesday, June 8
10:00 am - 11:00 am
at Temple Israel
Free of charge, and though geared toward adults 65+, this program is open to all Temple members who would like to attend.
TI member Linda Koenig will tell the story of her late husband Jerry's family's against-all-odds survival of the Holocaust. Not only did the family of four escape from the Warsaw Ghetto, but they existed for almost three years and through many close calls, hiding only two miles from the Treblinka death camp.
At a time when whole Jewish communities were destroyed, and only scattered individuals survived, their story is a remarkable rarity.
Reservations required by Monday, June 6 using the form below or by phone to Lisa Hirshberg at 314-432-8050.
The Senior Program Series is sponsored by Temple Israel’s Senior Engagement Committee.
Thank you to our event planners, Pamela Dern and Betsy Mehlman.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
