TIFTY: Broadway Bound at the New Jewish Theatre

Join TI teens (7th-12th) to see Broadway Bound, from Neil Simon’s acclaimed autobiographical trilogy. The show finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers while coping with their parents’ break-up and eventual divorce. When their material is broadcast on the radio for the first time, the family is upset to hear a thinly-veiled portrait of themselves played for laughs. The show is a light-hearted look at Jewish life, yet deal with complicated family dynamics that will resonate with students today.

Following the show, we’ll have the chance to speak with the new Artistic Director of the New Jewish Theater and fellow TIRS parent, Rebekah Scallet, about the show and about her role.
 

Seats are limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis, and are discounted for our group to $36/person. Parents and chaperones are welcome to attend, so please register for as many people who are planning on attending.
