Dear Temple Israel community,

As you may have seen on the news today, Israel has been facing deadly attacks from Hamas and the safety and wellbeing of its citizens still stands in jeopardy. We are absolutely heartbroken by the violence and condemn these horrific acts.

Let us pray for the protection of Israeli citizens of all faiths caught in the crossfire and for the strength of those fighting to protect innocent lives. Let us also pray for a swift resolution that ends this violence as soon as possible. Now, more than ever, may our prayers be heard and our support felt.

We will be sharing more in the coming days and invite you to join us at Shabbat services in person or online this next Friday, October 13, where we'll discuss the most current state of this situation.
