I can always tell when it's an extra special year here at our Education Center, and this one is already proving to be just that. Deutsch Early Childhood Center welcomed our community for the first day of the new school year, and students were so excited! We started off the week by getting to know our teachers and classrooms, enjoying art projects and sing-a-longs, and getting our sillies out in the famous Muscle Room.

Our Infant Room was the talk of the building. Not only do our teachers enjoy watching our youngest learners explore their new school, but the students love seeing the babies, too. If you haven't toured our incredible school, reach out! I'd love to show you the joy and learning happening within these walls.

Whether your kiddos attend DECC, or whether you attend TI and have preschool-aged children, there are many awesome High Holy Days programs and services you'll want to check out.

If you like intergenerational celebrations, bring family and friends of all ages to our S’lichot gathering where we’ll make holiday-themed crafts, explore a shofar, do mitzvot, nosh on cold treats, and enjoy a havdalah service to prepare for the High Holy Days.

We're also hosting two Tot services, one on Rosh Hashanah and the other on Yom Kippur. This service is led by the Rabbis and highly participatory with upbeat songs and stories. And if you'd like to attend services without kiddos, leave the babysitting to us. We're offering complimentary child care for children 6 months - grade 2.

If you have older children or teens, there are cool holiday opportunities for them, too! From apple picking at Eckert's to discussions with peers, there's something for youth of all ages.

I can't wait to celebrate with you at TI! More info and RSVP for services or child care at: www.ti-stl.org/HighHolyDays
