Happy Summer, Everyone!

We recently got back from our Confirmation class trip, where we led our high school sophomores through New York to experience Jewish life and think about their own Jewish journeys. We showed them a little bit of the best New York has to offer-Broadway, Central Park, corned beef, not to mention all of the amazing Jewish highlights-but we walked away feeling like the best part was the stories we heard from our students. Even at 16, these young men and women have so many interesting stories and experiences to share, from their takes on Jewish tradition to their insight into life in the St. Louis suburbs as Jewish teens today.

We realize that each of our congregants, young and old, has pretty amazing stories and thoughts to share, so we decided that starting a blog might be the best way to find an opportunity to share these with each other. In addition to blog posts from our TI community, you’ll hear from staff, board, special guests, community leaders, and more.
If you have a story or an idea you want to share, reach out to Erin May, our fabulous Director of Communications (who, by the way, has some pretty righteous stories of her own.) emay@ti-stl.org or 314-432-8050.
